- OM BOGEN
Jurisdiction in criminal matters is one of the classical central issues concerning criminal justice. Due to globalization it seems increasingly relevant for legislators, prosecutors and judges all over.
This book contains a brief overview of the jurisdictional rules in the five Nordic countries. The structure of the book makes it easy to analyse and compare the rules cross-border. This is relevant due to the close historical and cultural relationship of the five countries and due to decades of practical cooperation in criminal matters between the countries. In the final chapter of the book special patterns and trends of the development in the five countries are identified and discussed.
The trend to extent domestic jurisdiction is also seen outside the Nordic countries, which makes the book relevant both for readers from within and outside the Nordic countries
